The first Tuscan olive varieties were introduced to California in the early 1990's. The arrival of these trees is partly responsible for the tremendous interest and growth in the California olive oil movement. The several types now available represent generations and centuries of cultivation in Italy, and we are lucky to now have access to these trees that produce the finest quality oil. We have the largest stock of field grown Tuscan trees available, as they are limited due to the relatively recent introduction to California.
Our trees are field dug, and vary in trunk caliper from 2 ½" to 5". The overall dimensions are roughly 7' by 4' on the smaller trees, to 10-12' by 6' on the larger. We have three sizes available, according to trunk caliper.
